A Letter from the Mayor!
A congratulatory letter from none other than Mayor Michael Bloomberg appeared in the Artisanal Premium Cheese mailbox this week. New York City’s Mayor was letting us know how excited he was to have an Artisanal cheese collection named in honor of his honor.
Artisanal’s Mayor’s Collection was inspired by New York City’s Mayor Michael Bloomberg’s proposed 6 cent tax on plastic shopping bags. The collection comes with a stylish and sturdy canvas bag that can be reused on shopping trips. The Mayor’s Collection includes three locally produced perfectly-aged cheeses. These cheeses are all from New York State so the amount of pollution created bringing the cheeses to the Artisanal Cheese Center was minimal. The collection is a fun way to reduce your carbon footprint, save money and enjoy several perfectly aged cheeses.
The Mayor and his staff seemed to really enjoy the collection. He wrote city resident’s like Artisanal make him “proud to be this City’s big cheese.” Keep up the good work Mr. Mayor.
