If you are trying to come up with an idea of what would make a memorable first date, I believe there are few that can compete with attending one our classes here at the Artisanal Cheese Center in Manhattan. The Cheese & Wine 101 class is a good one to start with, possibly the Cheese & Wine 201 for the second date. A little cheese and wine do have a way of making you happy and convivial.
Every once in awhile we offer classes on Decadent Chocolate and Sinful Cheese, just to make sure you’ve covered your bases, or perhaps that might be a better class for a second or third date. Or if your date is a bigger fan of beers than wines you might sign up for Craft Beer & Artisanal Cheese.
And if you coming in from out of town, along with a Broadway Show, shopping, and the Museums, sign up for one of our classes. We are conveniently located at the corner of West 37th Street and 10th Avenue. No visit to the Big Apple would be complete without attending a class here at the Center, especially if you are bringing your significant other.
Part of what makes our classes a good idea for a date is that they are fun; the aromas and flavors of the excellent cheeses and quality wines (or other beverages) will leave a fond memory of the date.
Many singles come to our classes too, either with their friends or just on their own. I’m not saying that we would qualify as a “pick-up†venue but you may become acquainted with someone who shares a love of cheese – not a bad starting point.
Dating is even recommended for married couples. You owe it to yourselves. Many couples have done just that, some couples come back again and again.
